El diagn\u00f3stico de estas vasculitis se realiza mediante oftalmoscop\u00eda y biomicroscop\u00eda del segmento posterior, y la angiograf\u00eda es un estudio complementario muy \u00fatil.<\/p><p>Se pueden dar en contexto de enfermedades sist\u00e9micas como la Enfermedad de Beh\u00e7et, Lupus Eritematoso Sist\u00e9mico (LES), Esclerosis M\u00faltiple, Sarcoidosis u otras enfermedades que solo afectan al ojo como la Coroideopat\u00eda de Birdshot.<\/p><p>Tambi\u00e9n las enfermedades infecciosas como la Toxoplasmosis, S\u00edfilis y Herpes en la Necrosis Retinal Aguda pueden presentar vasculitis.<\/p><p>El cuadro comienza en el estad\u00edo prodr\u00f3mico, con cefaleas, zumbidos en los o\u00eddos (ac\u00fafenos), hipersensibilidad del cuero cabelludo, dolor de cuello con rigidez de nuca. Luego comienzan los s\u00edntomas asociados a la uve\u00edtis, que se prolonga semanas a meses, y se caracteriza por diminuci\u00f3n de la visi\u00f3n que afecta ambos ojos en 70 % de los casos, mientras que el 30 % restante experimenta compromiso del segundo ojo hasta una o dos semanas m\u00e1s tarde.<\/p><p><strong>La inflamaci\u00f3n intraocular que se asocia al desprendimiento de retina exudativo puede hacerse presente varios d\u00edas despu\u00e9s del comienzo de la enfermedad y a veces nunca irse si el tratamiento no es lo suficientemente precoz.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b376603 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"b376603\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vasculitis Las vasculitis retinianas representan un grupo de enfermedades poco frecuentes caracterizadas por inflamaci\u00f3n vascular (flebitis, arteritis, capilaritis, etc.) asociadas a una inflamaci\u00f3n intraocular que, en casos graves, puede llevar a la p\u00e9rdida de la visi\u00f3n.
